The Financial Aid Completion Workshop scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 16, is postponed to Saturday, Feb. 20, 6-7:30 p.m. 

The Office of Federal Student Aid delayed the release of the redesigned Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to sometime before December 31. This new FAFSA has major changes and improvements for those applying for 2024-25. Because of this, we have postponed the program until the form is live. 

For those who are already signed up, we will transfer your registration to this date.

During this workshop led by an Illinois Student Assistance Commission's ISACorps member, students can get questions answered to complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid (Alternative Application). These are the forms used to apply for financial aid, and many colleges also use these forms to consider students for institutional money. Individuals should create an FSA ID prior to the workshop to expedite the submission of the FAFSA. Individuals should have readily available information regarding their incomes and assest information.
