Prairie Patch Mud Kitchen: Group A

Ages 2-4 with a caregiver. Siblings welcome. Outdoor sensory play in the Prairie Patch. Mudpies, potions and other creative, messy play areas. (Weather permitting). Registration is required. Face masks are required and social distancing will be maintained during this program.

Please register once per family for just one Group.

We’ve created the Prairie Patch Mud Kitchen to provide children and their caregivers a unique space to play at the library. Outdoor play is an essential part of how kids learn about the world around them and using natural elements can be a fun and tactile way to learn about science, math and art. Additional benefits can be seen in social-emotional development as well as the practice of fine and gross motor skills.
