Online - Wilma Rudolph and Andy Stanfield: Olympic Heroes

Internationally known storyteller, Linda Gorham, tells the story of two Black athletes who beat the odds and became Olympic gold medal winners. Wilma Rudolph was a sickly child who was told she would never be able to walk. She and her family didn't give up. She not only learned to walk but also to run and became the first American woman to win three gold medals.  Andy Stanfield faced different challenges but through hard work competed in two Olympic Games and went on to earn two gold medals and one silver. Linda Gorham is Stanfield's niece.
