Read to a Pet
For beginning or independent readers at grades K-4 learning levels. Step into a relaxed, pressure-free zone to practice reading aloud to a trained dog or other animal from Hinsdale Humane Society’s READ Therapy Program. One reader per 15 minute session; no siblings. Once registered for a date, you will be contacted by a staff member to schedule your exact start time.
This program is held indoors. Please note the library’s current mask policy at ippl.info/covid19.
